‘Twas the night before Korea
and all through our home,
the bags are all packed
and we’ve started to moan
About the six o’clock departure—
Our first leg of the flight.
Should we go to bed now?
Or stay up through the night?
Our kids are all cozy,
Tucked warm in their beds,
While visions of their sister
Float around in their heads.
It’s good that they are warm,
We are headed to cold….
The high is 18 degrees,
In the big city of Seoul.
We are excited to go,
Although a bit nervous.
We’ll watch lots of movies
Before completing our purpose.
That sweet little girl –
That we have all waited for
Is ready to travel….
We hope that she’ll snore
On our flight to our city
during the 17 hours.
We’ll all be exhausted!
But she’ll finally be ours!
