Happy Thanksgiving!

Hi, everyone. Our Thanksgiving is off to an early start. The boys' school has an annual "Thanksgiving in the Meadow" which is a time of worship followed by some traditional games of the original event held among the native Americans and the pilgrims. The kids (and many parents) dress up as either pilgrims or native Americans. We have a great Brunswick stew and popcorn and hayrides around the farm.Today was a beautiful day to have it and we all enjoyed being outside for a few hours.

AnnaGrace had a feast at her preschool class on Monday. Her official native American name is "Jumping Turkey" which seems fitting. They made butter, muffins, fruit salad, turkey wraps, and even ate salad from lettuce they had grown themselves! Impressive for 3-year-olds! For dessert they had cranberry yogurt pops.

Jonathan had his acting debut. While he did a great job, I don't think we will see him on stage in his future. He was quite nervous and smiled a big sigh of relief after each song. The entire kindergarten performed. It was sweet.

I hope you all have a great Thanksgiving. This may be my favorite holiday. It's so easy to forget how much we have. It's great to take a day to truly consider how amazingly blessed we are.
