We celebrated this week as we finally, finally, finally received the final decree of adoption for Lily! We had begun the process in May and after several trips to the courthouse and multiple phone calls and emails, she's finally officially ours! Hooray! This has proven to be the most frustrating step in both of our girls' adoptions. Thank goodness it's the final step! We can't imagine life without her...she's another precious blessing for which we are incredibly grateful.
On the way to church this morning, however, Jonathan asked if we could trade her in if we didn't have the official documents. He wasn't really interested in doing that...just wanted the option later on, I think.
